If you want to have a joyful, fun filled life then you must take into account these type of behaviors that suggest controlling behavior. Does your partner seem to be busy all the time? Being busy is a defensive barrier that controlling people have to justify the action of not socializing with anyone beyond their household. It takes an effort to go outside the comfort level for anyone and for a person that is controlling this is totally unacceptable.
