To do it, locate the following registry entry- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Extensions and with the Exchange Scan data key selected in the right pane of the registry hit Delete key. Although, these methods can fix the issue and it won't occur in future, but there is always a hazard while using them. In case of first method, when you disable the scan, viruses can enter into your Outlook and can damage the PST file.
