Many of our soldier’s from the battles in the Middle East or any other war return with an inner turmoil that does not truly go away once they come home to a more settled life. The memories of the conflict remain even after time has passed and the soldier has verbally processed the experiences. Often the visceral bad feelings do not diminish causing the person to have difficulty coping with the stress of everyday life back home. When we experience violence or traumas such as: combat, explosions, fires, auto-accidents the memories are recorded in our body on a cellular level. Our body uncomfortably holds these memories the rest of our lives or until they are dealt with. If we try to go on with our lives and ignore the traumas the memories find other ways to express them selves such as: outbursts of rage, numbness to life, depression, anxiety attacks, illness and others. In some way these suppressed feelings find a way to express them selves. The first step in recognizing the situations that occurred; what happened and begin the process of feeling the experiences. It is important to return to these events without judgment of what occurred. If you judge the event for example as horrible we begin the process of retraumatizing our self thus making the experience more painful. If we can be present of the intensity of it and feel where it is active in our body (such as our stomach, solar plexus, neck etc.) We connect to a deeper level with the experience. When we are present with the experience and use the verbal tools of Access Energy Transformation that releases the stored cellular memory of the limitations a more dramatic release is created. The energetic trauma that occurred is stuck in the memory of our body. When the traumatic events are explored using the Access processes the body begins to release the memories of the traumas. Such extreme experiences create repetitive patterns in our bodies, which require several approaches into the past experiences before the events are truly cleared. In general, after a few sessions a remarkable difference is noted. Once the memories are cleared people begin to return to a more normal mental and physical health. There are several additional factors that contribute to the posttraumatic stress that Access Energy addresses: The military trains us to block out our feelings so that we can do our jobs. However it can be confusing when experiencing the intense emotional situations in combat. The training tells us to be detached but our whole life’s upbringing tells us a different response such as; it is wrong to kill or be kind to your fellow man. Thus when we leave the battle zone we are stuck in the dilemma of what we have done. It becomes a conflicted moral paradigm that we cannot intellectually resolve. We create bonds with fellow soldiers that we leave behind who are still fighting and we are energetically connected to them and unconsciously feel their suffering. Therefore we feel like we are living in the stress of the war without being there. Also there are projections from those in our community or family; that what we experienced at war must have been so bad and unbalancing. We are at the receiving end of everyone’s fears of how bad or wrong war is. Soldiers are no longer heroes but carry the burden other people’s beliefs. These and others are the unconscious weights that add to our stresses of soldiering that Access can clear out to allow you to be more whole within you.
