1993 Ford Ranger

Colorful displays were a huge selling point with the 1993 Ford Ranger. This are small trucks with room for two or three people in them and a short bed. The fact that Ford let loose with some splashes of bright colors on the solid primary colors was very appealing to consumers. Those that wanted a pickup instead of a car but not a huge monster to drive around loved the versatility that this particular vehicle could offer them.

This particular pickup offered a much better fuel mileage than larger ones at about 23 mpg on the highway. While the overall performance of the 1993 Ford Ranger is about average, it is the complete package that really sells it. There is no denying that what often attracts people to such vehicles is the exterior look. The body is very simple but the coloring brings it all to life.

The 1993 Ford Ranger does rate very high in the area of interior comfort. There is more leg room offered than with the competition for this category of small pickup. This was also the last year before the Ford Ranger introduced the extended cab to offer a couple of fold down seats in the back. When it comes to how the vehicle drives and handles you just can't beat it. This vehicle is also able to pick up speed rapidly which is always impressive from the consumer's point of view.

Some minor nuisances have been noted on some of the 1993 Ford Rangers out there. Most of them are very minor but if you are thinking of buying one you should be aware of them. They include vehicle noise coming from various parts of the vehicle including frame rivets and the lighting frames. A more severe concern was that some of them had brakes that were too tight after they had gotten wet.

Since the 1993 Ford Ranger was very well made, you may want to consider buying a used one. It could be for your daily driving, for cargo, or even for a teenager that is just getting a license. The cost of a used 1993 Ford Ranger can be from about $300 to about $3,000. It just depends on how many miles the vehicle has and how well it has been taken care of.

You may find it hard to get your hands on one though as they seem to be hidden gems in many areas. Those that have a 1993 Ford Ranger are often very content with it. They aren't in a hurry to sell it any time soon. Still, if you search around enough online and with dealers you can find what you are looking for. You can even post your own add that you are interested in buying one. Perhaps an owner may decide now is the time to part with their 1993 Ford Ranger.
