The price range for a brand new 2003 Saturn Vue was quite wide. The basic models were sold for about $15,000 with the best being sold for around $22,000. This was a perfect choice for consumers that wanted a nice SUV. However, many people didn't want to drive an extremely large one. They also loved the fact that the 2005 Saturn Vue was very good of fuel mileage. Compared to other mid sized SUV's in this class, the vehicle did very well. It got top rankings in most areas. One of the concerns though is that the 2005 Saturn Vue doesn't pick up speed like one would expect. Among the mid sized SUV's for this year it has the lowest rating for acceleration. That along with the fact that there was plenty of leg room for everyone including those in the back seat encouraged sales. Saturn was also very generous with the amount of cargo space that this particular vehicle had to offer. Production was tainted with problems on the line though for this vehicle. As a result many consumers that wanted one couldn't get their hands on it. That often lead to some buying a different type of compact SUV. The style of the 2003 Saturn Vue remained the same until 2007 when some updates were introduced. By this time Saturn had to compete with the Chevy Equinox so they decided a new look would help them to compete. They didn't have to worry though as they still had the market of very loyal Saturn customers. These compact SUV's have retained their value very well. You should be able to buy one for a price from $8,000 to $10,000. If you want a great compact SUV that has plenty off room and looks great, then start searching for one.
