2006 Pontiac Torrent - Midsize Comfort for your Family
|
One of the things that a lot of people were saying about the 2006 Pontiac Torrent was that it came very close to being a clone of the Chevy Equinox. This being said, however, it wasn't an exact replica; and what aspects did resemble the Equinox were actually positive things. There were a lot of midsize SUV's on the market; and though it often came down to a matter of preference and brand loyalty, the 2006 Pontiac Torrent seemed to be holding its own in most areas. What families needed in a midsize SUV, the 2006 Pontiac Torrent seemed to deliver adequately. Its power in most situations was surprisingly good for the gas mileage it provided. At an average of 20 miles per gallon, some people expected it to be sluggish on hills or when hauling heavy cargo, but this didn't seem to be the case. The 2006 Torrent's ride was also smooth enough to satisfy the pickiest of passengers, and it could seat five people comfortably with plenty of room left over to haul such things as luggage, sports equipment, and camping gear. If you are considering buying a used model Torrent SUV, you probably won't have much trouble finding one in good condition. Since a lot of them were family cars, they were usually well taken care of. Though this might give them good resale value, therefore commanding a respectable price, you should still be able to get a good deal. Getting a 2006 Pontiac Torrent that will give you years of reliable service for much less than buying a brand new SUV is not only possible, but probable. As long as you use common sense when you're shopping, you should be able to find a Torrent that you'll be pleased with for a long time. About The Author: |
