3 Types of Canopy Tents Perfect for Every Occasion

Canopies are a great way to offer protection to those we care for. There are canopies for trucks, and there are canopies for boats. There are canopies that help protect our toddles because Radio Flyer only wants the best for you and your family. One category that many canopies fall under is canopy tents. Do you need a canopy tent? Do you know what to look for to get the best out of all canopy tents?

There are many types of canopy tents, but I would like to introduce you to a few that seem to cover the majority of canopy tent purchases.

1. Instant canopy tents are great for people on the move. All canopy tents are portable, but usually, setting them up and breaking them back down can takes countless hours. If you have never actually done this before, you will spend even more time trying to figure out which pole goes into which pole. These instant canopy tents are great because two people can set them up in a matter of minutes, not hours.

These canopy tents are usually around 50 pounds when stored in their bag. When you are ready to set up your instant canopy tent, all you have to do is remove it from the bag. Two people pull on opposite sides, and the tent will unfold itself. Then the two people will usually walk around and pull a sheath down over the joints to lock them into place for security. It is as easy to break these down as it is to put it up.

These instant canopy tents are perfect for outdoor parties away from home such as on the beach or at a camping site.

2. Enclosed canopy tents are the perfect solution for people who need a little added protection. These canopy tents are usually completely closable. One or more sides will be movable so that you can get in and out. A good example of these types of canopy tents is also called a garage tent.

After being setup into a semi-permanent location, these canopy tents are then used to store your vehicle. Usually, this is done for numerous reasons. A) You do not have a usable garage. B) You want to offer some protection from the elements for your vehicle.

These are purchased specifically for your vehicle. Getting the right size is essential. You will find them small enough for a compact car and large enough to house an RV.

3. RV canopy tents are a great idea for those of you wanting a greenhouse, but lack the time or money to create a full blown greenhouse. These canopy tents will come in all sizes, but usually start at about 10 by 10. Setting these up can be difficult, and you will want this to be a permanent setup. Sometimes, people will create these themselves, but it saves both time and money to purchase one you want at the size you need.
