The third type of spotting scopes that you may find is a scope that can be mounted on the shoulder. These types are scopes are not used very often and are more complex than the other two types of scopes. It is very rare to come across this kind of a scope.

You can find scopes that are of great quality, but that are also substantially less expensive and these can be found by manufacturers such as Nikon, and Kowa. No matter what kind of scope for spotting you may buy you should be sure that you buy it from a reputable company, and that you get great quality for your money.
