Chances are good you have seen these before, but you probably didnt quite think of them as a canopy, but these are quite common and a beneficial part of our home or office. A good free standing canopy is definitely going to add shade, covering, and protection for the home or office. These free standing canopies are made of various materials, but I find that metal ones tend to be more beneficial than others simply because they last a considerable amount of time longer. However, you can get these in decorative canvas or vinyl as well. 1. One example of a free standing canopy is seen when you see a mobile home or RV. Have you seen the patio that usually has a mechanical patio covering? These are a good example of free standing canopies. These are usually made of canvas, and they tend to match the RV or mobile home. Of course, you may decide that you want to get a more decorative free standing canopy than the one that comes default with the RV or mobile home. 2. Another example of a free standing canopy is seen at the office. These are usually at the entrance way and exit of the business. The free standing canopy helps keep clients and visitors dry, and these tend to offer a welcoming air to the business. You will definitely find these are a great addition to a business because they help visitors remember your business. 3. Finally, you will find a good example of a free standing canopy in the home. These are usually use over windows and can be extremely decorative while adding a benefit to the home. Usually, these will match one another and highlight the appearance of the home. I find that these are beautiful if they have scalloped edges, but I prefer a metal over hang for my home because they are usually paintable, but they are going to last the home without a lot of maintenance and repairs.
