4 Different Models of the Handheld Vacuum

The cleaning process is done in order to make sure that the living or working space that is being utilized is free of dirt, dust and other microscopic or visually comparable impurities. When it comes to vacuuming, a number of people are very particular about their vacuum cleaners. This is part of the reason as to why companies offer a variety of different models and styles of vacuum cleaners. Even within the subcategories of vacuum cleaners, there are breakdowns. For example, when it comes to residential vacuum cleaners, there are cordless vacuum cleaners and there are handheld vacuums. A number of people appreciate the capabilities of handheld vacuum cleaners, but even within this design exists a number of different characteristics of the vacuum itself. The type that an individual decides on is based largely on personal preference, as well as an individual's own sense convenience, practicality and ease of use.

1 - One of the most popular styles of vacuum when it comes to a handheld model is that which is battery operated. There are two main different types of battery operated handheld models. The first is that which is charged. Whether the battery can be taken out and charged, or whether it can be plugged in while not in use in order to charge the battery inside of it, these models allow the vacuum to be cordless while it is in operation. This allows for more convenience when it comes to moving around the house quickly and vacuuming different places without changing the outlet for the plug for the vacuum cleaner.

2 - There also exist electronically powered vacuums that need to be plugged in before they will function. This is a typical design when it comes to most vacuum cleaners, and it is helpful because the individual will not need to worry about whether or not the battery is charged or needs to be charged when they need to use the vacuum. As long as they are near an electrical outlet, they can plug in the vacuum and clean up messes immediately.

3 - Next, there are vacuum cleaners with a rotating bristle brush. This is an especially handy feature when it comes to needing to clean cloth or rug areas. Pieces of dirt can get trapped in the fibers of the cloth, and the bristles rotate around in order to pull the impurities out of the fibers and loosen them so that they can be pulled up into the vacuum cleaner.

4 - Straight suction vacuum cleaners are great for bare floors. They are able to suck up messes and particles quickly and powerfully, making them a very cost effective option when it comes to purchasing a vacuum cleaner.

These different qualities and characteristics of the handheld vacuum can not only affect the price of the vacuum, it can also affect the effectiveness of the device, depending on the type of setting in which the vacuum cleaner will be used. Some of the qualities are also merely a choice of personal preference on the part of the person who will be using the handheld vacuum cleaning device.
