4 Different Types of Vacuum Cleaners to Buy: Upright to Stick Vacuum

Many people enjoy being able to keep their homes and living spaces clean and orderly. While there are a number of mechanisms and cleaners that can help an individual accomplish this task, one of the most utilized and appreciated home cleaning tools is the vacuum cleaner. Whether you prefer a stick vacuum or another type, these machines help to ensure that as much dirt and debris as possible can be quickly, easily and effectively removed from your floors and other surface areas. Not only does this increase the aesthetic appeal of your home, but this also works to create a more pure and healthy environment by taking dust, mites, molds and spores out of your carpet, furniture pieces and floors. When it comes to the right model of vacuum cleaner for your home, however, there are a number of different types and styles that a person can look into using to achieve the desired cleanliness and order for their home:

1 - Upright vacuum cleaners are some of the most popular models. They are very effective and generally work very well to pick up pieces of dirt and impurities, leaving your home looking and feelings clean. Many people use these models for more in-depth cleanings and they can work on both carpeted and bare floors, for the most part. Accessories enable them to get into tight and small spaces, but not all of the accessories are included with the vacuum itself at all times. This is also one of the most expensive types of vacuum cleaner.

2 - A more streamlined looking upright vacuum is the stick vacuum. This particular model is great especially on bare floors and is very easy to keep stored away. Not only is the stick vacuum light and easy to maneuver, but there is often a very friendly price tag attached to this model as well. However, it is not always the best choice for big spills and messy cleanups.

3 - Steam vacuum cleaners are probably the most expensive type of vacuum cleaner, but this is a great selection if you or someone in your home has a number of allergies. This type of vacuum works to make sure that everything is completely sterilized with every use. They are bigger and bulkier, but many people find them worth the cost and space that they can take up in the home.

4 - When you have a small and quick job in a limited area, small handheld vacuums are usually the tool of choice. Many people enjoy these small and convenient vacuums because they cost very little and are very versatile when it comes to what types of surfaces that can work on. They are not designed for large surface area jobs, though.

Finding the right type of vacuum for you is dependent upon person preferences, but also upon what type of home you live in as well as your budget. When you figure out all these different aspects, you can choose the best and most effective model or style of vacuum cleaner for you. The model that is right for one person is not always right for another, so it is important to look into all these different areas exclusively in your own life before investing in a vacuum cleaner for your home.
