5 Tips For Your Whirlpool Hot Water Heater
|
Owning a Whirlpool hot water heater is often one of the first major appliances any new home owner will need to purchase. Unlike a stove or a refrigerator, Whirlpool hot water heaters are better off new, and from a company you can trust. I must admit, I have never been fond of the Whirlpool customer support since it is almost non-existent, but if you are lucky enough to get one that is not a lemon, you will get a lot of happiness from your water heater. 1. Your Whirlpool hot water heater will last longer if you make sure to get the best you can afford. Whirlpool has a way of adding better customer support the more money you spend on their appliances. You may decide that this is good for you, so by all means, purchase a Whirlpool hot water heater. 2. You will do well with your Whirlpool hot water heater if you are an electrician or a plumber. Since Whirlpool does not offer the best warranties, these are perfect for the home handy person. 3. If you want a Whirlpool hot water heater, you can expect to find the majority of parts at a decent price. This is one thing I can give Whirlpool a thumbs up for. They definitely use generic parts on their water heaters so you will be able to find a readily available supply of parts. 4. I have found that older Whirlpool hot water heaters actually work better and are more reliable than the newer ones. If you are lucky enough to find a rebuilt Whirlpool hot water heater, you will probably get years of great use from your purchase. 5. If all else fails, you can purchase another brand other than the Whirlpool hot water heater. As you can tell, I found very few praises for Whirlpool hot water heaters, but a whole lot of complaints. For every 19 complaints, I would say I found 1 person who was happy - not thrilled - with their Whirlpool hot water heaters. If you want cheap, this is the way to go, but the higher priced ones seem to work better. I must say that Whirlpool recently changed hands, so we should all wait and see if the quality of this once great company actually increases.
