Basically you'll want to see if using various colors of light makes a difference in how plants grow. You can start out with potted plants or you can try to grow your plants from seeds to see what they do. Make sure that you have separate boxes for the plants so that you can keep the separate light color contained. Keep track of the results for about a week and see which plants do the best. All you have to do is take different objects, such as cereals, rice, stones, or other small items and weight out an ounce of each one. It will be fun to see that just a couple stones may weigh an ounce while it takes a whole bag of cereal to make the ounce mark.
