MaterialThere are all kinds of materials on the market but one of the main purposes on your mind is to protect you and your guests from the UV rays of the sun so make sure the material you choose does that. A metal frame allows you to angle the umbrella in a almost any direction by using a button to tilt and a crank system. A wood frame is usually made from teak and uses a pulley to open and rotate but it cannot be angled. 6. TiltThere are three different tilt systems on the market which include the push button, crank tilt, and collar tilt which is the easiest to use.
