Over the days there have been plenty of young drama television series, but some were far more popular than others. The original version ran from 1990 to 2000 and was so hugely popular it has inspired a modern reincarnation that falls flat of the original classic. Though its plots were often over the top, viewers tuned in religiously to catch all of the drama of these hot, wealthy teens. Following a similar premise and setting as "90210", the series focused on the interactions between a rebellious kid from the failure side of the tracks as he is thrown in with the most privileged and sheltered kids possible. Sports have nothing on a good old fashioned rich kid versus poor kid battle. The 1st position is occupied by "Dawson's Creek". This season took a completely different approach to the teen drama in that it removed the richness and glamour surrounding the kids. The show was set in a small town and revealed the intensely complicated relationships that can result when everyone knows one another's name. Fourth on the list is "One Tree Hill". This teen drama also takes place in a small town, following the trials and tribulations of a group of friends and how their lives and relationships change after high school. The storyline is about a clique of friends who live in Beverly Hills, California and they are all from different lifestyles and some are really rich. You experience the issues they deal with such as drugs, alcohol, premarital sex, teen pregnancy, birth control, mental illness, drunk driving, rape, dating, relationships and much more. Their father receives a position as head principal in their school. Anne Wilson and her brother Dixon are now new to the town and working on making new friends. If you didn't learn 90210 is a re-done of the old original TV series Beverly Hills 90210. It was a very great TV show during 1990 to 2000. Both seasons are the same and have the same plot. They focus around a ordinary family that has two children who have moved from a tiny town to Beverly Hills. For many parents I enjoy buying DVD seasons of all my favorite Television episodes especially 90210. I bought the 1-5 seasons on DVD but just found out that you can watch 90210 seasons 1 through the internet for free. I wish I could return them but it was over 30 days.
