Ab Machines: Help Build Six-Pack

r>Do you ever dream about having Janet Jackson's six-pack? Did you know developing abs is the common goal among many people? Well, it's true, there are more ways of getting those rock hard abs than just doing a billion crunches. There are many other exercises, such as using the exercise ball, captain's chair, and the bicycle exercise. However, there health factors, such as staying on a correct diet. When you are choosing a diet, try to go a on a diet that burns on calories a little bit more than calories taken in. I suggest eating more than three meals a day; instead, have many small meals in order to reduce hunger. Also, reduce your portion size to a smaller meal size and eat foods that balanced both in carbs, fats and protein, but don't reduce too much of your calories, which can in turn lower your metabolism.

Throughout the day, drink a great deal amount of water, the recommended eight cups a day to stay hydrated. The bicycle exercise is a simple exercise that anyone could do just by lying flat on the floor. Next, place your hands on your head and let your legs create a forty-five degree angle in the air. With your legs, start treading your legs as if you are really on a bicycle. To further exercise your abs, let your left elbow touch your right leg and your right elbow touch your left leg. Remember to breathe in and out while doing this exercise, consistent breathing is the key.

The captain's chair the most popular ab exercise; however, it requires some gym equipment in order to for the exercise to be effective. It actually quite simple, when sitting on the captain's chair, leave your legs hanging, the next step is for you to raise your legs slowly towards your chest. So basically you are competing a crunch, but on a chair instead. Return back to your starting position and continue doing more crunches from there. When you are doing the captain chair exercise, remember to consistently breathe. The strength, stability, and balance of your torso is improved each time your exercise your abs. The core of your body, which consists of your lower back, lower hips, and abdominals are responsible for most of the movement in your body. When the core of your body is strengthen, your spine is stabilized.

The crunch ball doesn't seem like it is an exercise that works, but like the bicycle exercise and the captain's chair, it one of the top abs exercises that are most effective. The crunch ball is actually the most inexpensive and effective exercise equipment for your home. Let the ball sit on the floor while your feet are touch the floor at the time same. Slowly let your back roll on to the ball, allow your torso and thighs to be parallel to the ground. Make a forty-five degree angle with your torso, when you are doing that, you are working your abdominals. If you want work out the slanted muscles on your body, move your feet closer to each other and repeat the exercise.

Many think exercise equipment, such as the Ab Rocker or the Ab Roller can work wonders and give you the perfect set of abs, but that is not true. According to several tests done, these abs equipment are the worst and the least effective. Surprisingly, a basic crunch on is better and more effective than those equipment. I highly recommend not spending your money on equipment that does not give the pleasing results you want, invest your money on a crunch ball instead. You can also go to gym and work out your whole body other than your abdominals, I think having a gym membership is excellent idea when trying to stay fit and healthy. However, if you are on a tight budget, the bicycle exercise is free and proven to be most effective.

You can easily have the perfect set of six-packs with just simple exercising and balanced diet, it's actually not that difficult if you really put your mind to it. Always remember to drink lots of water, especially during and after your exercise to keep yourself hydrated. Another thing to keep in mind is breathing consistently during your exercise, it will keep you feeling less tired. With hard work and proper nutrition, you can have the best set of abs in town!
