Acne Homemade Mask - A Natural Solution
|
An acne homemade mask can work well if you know what ingredients to use to make it. Most likely if you are looking to make a homemade mask, then you probably wish to use ingredients that are as natural as possible. This will take some research, as you want to make sure that the natural ingredients you use for your mask are ones that work well to heal acne and keep your skin clear. One of the natural ingredients that you may want to use is green clay. Actually more of a grayish color with just a hint of green, this naturally mined clay is one of the best natural ingredients for drawing impurities from the skin and clearing up acne. Green clay may be found in health food stores or beauty supply stores. If you cant find it at these types of stores, you will be sure to find it on the Internet. Just make sure that you deal with a reputable company who only sells the purest green clay. Citrus is very good to use in an acne homemade mask. It is a natural astringent that works with the skins natural oils to make our skin look healthy and glowing. Used in conjunction with green clay in an acne homemade mask, it can be extremely beneficial. Fresh squeezed orange juice works best, since it is milder than using lemon or grapefruit juice. Most of the time when you purchase the green clay, you purchase it in powder form. For the homemade mask, you simply mix a small amount of the fresh squeezed orange juice with the green clay powder until you get just the right consistency for a mask. You may also want to add crushed lavender for skin soothing, or any other ingredients that your research shows may be good for your skin type. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and dry it, then apply the acne homemade mask to your face and leave it on for twenty minutes to a half hour before rinsing thoroughly. Do this twice a week and you will see a big difference in the way your skin looks and feels. About The Author: Colette is the Editor and Publisher of Article Click.
