Back Acne- AKA Bacne

Back acne is skin disease that affects adults and teenagers equally. It is developed by bacterial infection and an excess production of sebum by sebaceous glands in the surface of the skin. Back acne is developed inner layer of the skin and can leave the scars without treatment. This form of acne is a less common, but no less upsetting type of acne for those that suffer from its conditions. It is an unpleasant condition but although the position is inconvenient, it is treatable. It is a common enough problem for the legions of acne sufferers around the world and is a common skin condition that affects almost everyone at sometime in his or her life.

Acne is a common skin condition, which can be extremely mild or quite disfiguring. It's caused by excess sebum production that hardens and forms a plug to clog the pores. Acne on the body can be irritated by sweat, so make sure you shower right after a workout. Acne Inflammatory disorder of the sebaceous (oil-producing) glands of the skin resulting in skin eruptions such as blackheads and infected spots; it is seen mostly on the face, neck and back and is common in both sexes at puberty. It is thought of as appearing only on the face, however it is often on other parts of the body including the chest, arms, neck and back. In these locations, Acne is much more difficult to deal with than that on the face and on the neck.

Skin inflammation, changes in texture or color, and spots may be the result of infection, a chronic skin condition, or

contact with an allergen or irritant. Skin on the back is much thicker and therefore allows for stronger topical treatments, such as ten percent Benzoyl peroxide.

Treatment for back acne includes keeping the skin clean and dry. Because the skin on the back is very tough, it should be treated differently than other skin on the body, namely the face. If bacne is persistent, painful or your self-esteem is suffering, see a dermatologist about possible treatment with antibiotics. To get moderate to severe back acne under control, you'll probably need an oral medication as well as topical treatments. Oral antibiotics commonly prescribed to help with back breakouts include: tetracycline, minocyclinedoxycyclineerythromycin. If acne doesn't respond to first-line treatments, amoxicillin or trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole may be presribed.

It seems that a lot of body acne is also hormonal, and therefore hormonal treatments will be very beneficial to people who have pimples all over their body. Bodybuilders who take steroids often break out in bad attacks of shoulder and back acne.

Body acne differs from face acne in location, size, persistence and difficulty of treatment and most often appears as chest, neck, arm and back acne. This type of Acne acne could be caused by several factors and based on the possible causes is how you make that determination.

Back acne is so common that it has even developed its own colloquial name, "Bacne." It is also not caused by heredity and genetic disposition except in severe Conditions. However, it is a painful and annoying, more prevalent and more difficult to treat externally than regular acne of the face. Bacne is one form of body acne and it's a bitch to reach when you need to treat that really juicy volcanic pimple on your back. It is also often more severe and much more difficult to treat than facial acne, so sometimes the body wash method may or may not successful.
