Beka Stainless Steel Cookware

For more than 100 years Beka has been producing stainless steel cookware that combines tradition with an ambitious spirit. It all started back in 1899 in Betzingen when Daniel Braun and Jakob Kemmler started their corporation and BEKA was born.

By 1991 Beka moved to strengthen their position in the global market. By 2000 Beka was bought out by a Belgian group and they continue to build a strong market in the cookware industry.

Beka cookware is among some of the best on the market and it is among the easiest to maintain and look after. When you first get your cookware be sure to remove all the labels with hot soapy water. Then rinse and dry.

Now it's time to start cooking those great meals with your new cookware. If you use an open flame cook stove make sure that the flame does not extend up the sides of your pan. It should stay in the inside diameter on the base so that the handles do not get too hot.

Heat the pot to the highest temperature then lower the heat to continue cooking the food. When you are done simply wash with hot soapy water, rinse, and dry.

There is a protective layer on the copper that you will need to remove before you use the pans. Use a little acetone on a paper town to remove the layer. Then wash in hot soapy water, rinse, and dry.

Your cookware has a non stick layer that needs to be maintained. Occasionally you will want to oil the non stick surface to extend its life. Don't overheat the pan as this will damage the non stick surface. If you accidentally burn something let the pan soak with water in it. Never use metal utensils always use wood or plastic.

To remove stubborn stains soften by boiling water in the pan then rinse and clean as normal. If you see your pans corroding this is because you added salt to cold water. Always wait until the water is at least warm before adding and to avoid corrosion.

Stainless cookware is the best investment you will ever make. It's a healthy choice for food preparation and it will outlast any other type of cookware on the market.

Add that to the even heat distribution and the low cooking temperatures and you can quickly see why you should consider Beka stainless steel cookware. So what are you waiting for?
