What could you ask for more in a man? He is always ready to offer you his shoulders when you have problems, you two have always something in common to talk about and he makes you laugh. So, the big question is: is he the one? Now comes the harder part. Even if you feel that your feelings are growing stronger as you realize that you are in love with him, you do not know what to do. How would he react if he found out that you love him? Will you lose his friendship? Somehow, this alternative seems scarier than losing a potential love. What to do? Luckily, there are some ways to show your long time friend that you love him. Try them to test his reactions. Get closer The best way to let some deeper sentiments surface is by spending some time together with your friend. Ask him out for a movie and see how things go when there are not others around to spoil the romantic atmosphere. Maybe you will discover that he, as well, is in love with you, and he just needed the right opportunity to break it to you. Honesty is the best strategy There is no point in hiding your feelings altogether. That kind of behavior will make you act strange, and he will know that something is wrong with you. Instead, try to be honest about it and show him what you feel about him. Do not be blunt, but send the right messages to see how he reacts. Keep him space and time to evaluate the new situation. He must not take any decision under pressure. - It is best to keep your eyes open. If his behavior towards you is nothing but pure friendship, no matter what signals you send to him, then it is not advisable to try all your best to make him love you.
