Buy PDA - Tips for Purchasing a Great PDA



Today there are many people who end up getting a PDA of their own. A PDA definitely can be quite helpful. Of course before you actually buy PDA, there are a variety of different things you'll definitely want to consider. It's a great idea to take the tome to compare prices, models, and even the features before you buy. So, here are a few tips that will help you to make sure you purchase a great PDA.

Tip #1 - Consider the Size

First of all, if you want to buy PDA, you will want to consider the size before making the purchase. There are many different sizes that you can choose from. Some are as large as books, while others aren't much bigger than a credit card. You'll want to consider the weight as well. Buy one that is too heavy and it will get on your nerves.

Tip #2 - Look for WiFi and Bluetooth

When you are looking for a great PDA, you'll want to look for WiFi and Bluetooth as well. You definitely should have these features integrated into your PDA. They come in handy if you need to sync up with your compute or if you want internet to the PDA. So, check to see if you get both of these features before making your final decision.

Tip #3 - Make Sure it Has Great RAM

When you buy PDA, the RAM of the PDA is also something that is important. Usually you'll find that most of them have 8MB RAM in them; however, you can add special memory expansion cards to them. If you don't have enough RAM, you may have problems using your PDA, so ensure it has plenty of RAM for what you need to use it for.

Tip #4 - Get One with a CompactFlash or PC Card Slot

Check to see whether or not the device comes with a CompactFlash slot or a PC Card slot in it when you are ready to buy PDA. You definitely want to have this if you plan on hooking up with a Modem. While some of these devices come with their own internal modems in them, others need to be hooked up to one.

Tip #5 - Take a Look at the Keyboard

Last of all, if you are going to buy PDA, make sure that you take a look at the keyboard. You want to get a keyboard that is large enough to use comfortably. It will be difficult to use your PDA if you can't use the keyboard. So, check to make sure that you will be comfortable if you are going to work on the PDA that you purchase.
