Buy Trampoline Springs Online

Trampolines have been around for many years but in the past few years there has been an increasing interest in owning and using a trampoline and so it's important for you to keep safety front and center. That starts with the trampoline springs which can be purchased online.

Ask your child what they most want. Don't be surprised if the answer you hear is a trampoline. It's the number one answer by most children. In fact the most purchased item on the market from ages 5 to 15 is a trampoline.

But before you give into their demands it is important that you take into consideration all the safety elements. There is no question that a trampoline is great fun and an excellent way to get plenty of exercise but it can be a dangerous item if not used safely.

First of all you need to make sure that your yard has adequate room to hold your trampoline and that there is adequate space for a safe install. Here are just a few basic rules that will get you started.

Did you know?1. The lighter you are the more likely you are to get hurt - 5x more likely.2. Children under 6 years of age are more vulnerable to injury.3. More than 80% of the injuries on a trampoline occur when there is more than one person on it.4. The most common areas for injury include the neck, legs, arms, face, and head.

So here are some tips to keep your kids safe and all your jumpers for that matter:

1. If your trampoline is going to get used like it is suppose to eventually the springs will need replacing. The smartest move it to replace with a heavy duty spring. That way you won't have to replace as often and it also stiffens up the trampoline.

When you replace the trampoline mat it is a good idea to take a minute and exam the springs to see if they are damaged, stretched, or looking rather ragged. If the answer is yes then replace them. After all they cost just a couple of bucks each and play an integral role in safe use of your trampoline.

If the coil isn't returning to it's normal shape when you remove it from the frame it is time to replace. You should also replace if it is looking kind of deformed and if your larger jumpers are bottoming out you need to replace your springs with a stiffer heavy duty spring.

2. Trampoline Safety PadsAre made from closed cell high density foam that is shock absorbent and will not loose its shape. It is also resistant to mildew and it won't absorb water.

The pads cover the frames and springs leaving a wide one inch thick foam that will provide the maximum in protection. Overall the pads are generally 15 inches wide but that depends on the manufacturer.

Most attach with 20 to 24 points which hold the pads safely in place during jumping and even when the winds whip up. The foam is covered with heavy gauge vinyl that's usually about 20 ounces.

3. Safety NettingIf your trampoline didn't come with safety netting then you need to buy it and install it. It's like putting a big cage around the trampoline keeping the kids from being able to tumble to the ground. It's a great way to keep them safe.

Before you allow the children to use the trampoline they need to know and understand the rules and the safety issues. If a child is too young to understand the rules they are too young to use the trampoline so use your best judgment.

Start by setting the rules and making sure everyone knows what those rules are. You should also make certain your children know and understand the risks that are associated with the use of a trampoline.

Before using all jumpers make it a rule that all jewelry or items that could cause damage or injury are removed. That includes things like belts too. Allow only one person on the trampoline at one time and never leave children under six alone for even a moment. In fact kids should not be allowed to use the trampoline unless there is an adult supervising.

Your trampoline should provide you with years of enjoyment. In fact it should last long enough to see your children become young adults and all that it takes to see this happen is the purchase of a quality trampoline to being with combined with the right supplies and parts for maintenance. Oh yes and don't forget that you'll also want to invest in some of those great accessories.

Your trampoline springs are a great place to start in making sure your trampoline is safe and up for some serious fun!
