Camping sinks are convenient, inexpensive, and portable. There are so many types of portable camping sinks to choose from that the experience of shopping for one is an adventure in itself. In addition, the options available with the portable camping sinks are mind-boggling. 1. The dish pan sink. These are perhaps the most common and least expensive. Anything can be transferred into a sink. All that you have to posses is a basin that will hold water. I like a metal dish pan for my sink so that I can heat up the water to get the camping dishes clean and sanitary. However, the material you choose is an entirely personal option.2. Double basin folding sink. These sinks are usually made of extra firm plastic. They come in different sizes but have two, equal sized basins. You have a rinse water and dish water basin. The hot water is heated elsewhere and then poured into the basin. These types of sinks are generally inexpensive and are used solely for camping purposes.3. Portable kitchens. These are a wonder to behold. I think these types of portable camping sinks are pretty amazing in thought, but would take as much time to set up and take down as the entire camping trip. These are just what they sound like: portable kitchens. You have a metal legs that hold up metal countertops and basins. The basins usually have a feed line that originates from a water holder underneath the portable kitchen. Then you pump a faucet and water goes into a basin. These are handy and look neat, but they are not for me.4. I like the common table with basin or basins flesh with the top. These are inexpensive and let me stand up to wash dishes. These also allow me to benefit from running water. The table usually offers additional space that comes in handy for preparing meals as well. My favorite part is that these are extremely affordable and can even be made at home. The functionality definitely is worth the cost. Camping sinks are a wonderful way to keep your family healthy and clean. Depending on your desire, there is a camping sink for everyone regardless of budget. You can make a camping sink out of a simple bucket. Whatever you choose, camping sinks are a great addition to that camping trip.
