Padding is based on face weight. The twist and density are terms to consider also. The face weight figures the amount of surface weight. If the ounce weight is low the density is good, which factors into the padding. Total surface weight figures out to be the weight of the backing and the figures in latex bonding, or other bonds. Buying quality fabrics include considering fibers and backings with quality bond. Some of the best bonds are the weaved, jutes, or quality glued textures. How to choose construction: Rugs construction is important. The construction includes backing, fibers, strands, bonds, piles, height, density twist levels, and fiver levels. Some carpets have finish fibers, shear, or other types of fibers that strand with backings. Choosing the low-density face weight is one of the better choices in carpets. You want to consider how the carpets re treated also. Treated carpets with finer quality materials make good for stain resistance and wear resistance. Most carpets are treated with dyes. So consider dye, design, style, backings, tuft, resistance, texture, fabric, color, dyes, treatments, and more. The tuft or punched backings are often weaved together so that the backings fit between the other. How to find quality carpets: Head to the Internet. Online you will find carpet stores in the US and from abroad. The stores offer you samples, which you should take advantage of before buying carpet online. If you want to get a good touch or feel of texture, using samples is the way to go. Use the samples to test the thickness of the carpet. If the carpet has a thick, rich feeling, you know how it will feel under your feet. If you have to use several samples until you find what you want.
