Choose A Bridge Kitchen Faucet For Your Kitchen
|
Running water has had a definite impact on the way we live and too often we forget how it use to be. We take our taps for granted and hardly give them a second thought unless they start to leak or break. Think about it. A kitchen without a kitchen faucet would be an ominous place. But besides being functional your kitchen faucet should make a dcor statement. There should be more to it than just installing some boring old tap. One of my favorite styles is the bridge kitchen faucet which is beautifully crafted with the arched bridge connection, lever handles, and hook spout. This style is available in a host of different finishes depending on the manufacturer. Brass, stainless, copper, porcelain, nickel and pewter are the main materials and they can be polished or brushed. Brushed pewter is simply outstanding with a bit of old world charm mixed with a trendy modern style. They are also available with porcelain levers and metal spout. It gives them a very antique look and its a perfect choice for a room that fits that dcor. These faucets start around the $300 mark and go up to over $500 depending on who the manufacturer is and what options youve chosen. Its important to shop around and do some price comparisons. This industry is highly competitive so just a little bit of time shopping around and youll be able to save substantially. Of course you can check your local hardware store or plumbing store too but dont expect them to have the wide selection that is available online at what I like to call the worlds largest mall. There are so many great choices so dont be surprised if you feel just a bit overwhelmed and cant seem to make a choice. Narrow your choices down to 10 and then re-examine your picks and cut it down to 5. If you cant decide on your own ask a friend for help. Then short list to 3 and finally make your choice. It wont seem so overwhelming this way. If your ready to make a real statement in your kitchen its time to choose a bridge kitchen faucet. So what are you waiting for?
