Come Relax In Hollywood Florida



Today Hollywood is a diverse, active, and vital community with a great nightlife, fabulous theater, and amazing festivals and attractions all year long. So why not come relax in Hollywood Florida.

Hollywood Florida was once home to Spanish explorers. By 1870 an agricultural community was flourishing and in 1911 the Nestor Company opened Hollywood’s first film studio.

But in Hollywood style things are never static and it wasn’t long before it was no longer the capital of film glamour. Stars moved off to Beverly Hills and with them went the luxurious shops and fine dining establishments.

By the 1960’s music recording studios began to make their home in Hollywood. Even today that vibrancy and glamour continue to live on although it’s in a different manner. This is a city that’s full of the arts and a great place to see some of the best entertainment around!

Currently Hollywood Florida is working to recover from the devastating Hurricane Katrina which devastated so many areas. But not to worry it won’t be long before Hollywood is a top destination choice once again!

Music and Dancing Under The Stars offers year round entertainment at the Hollywood Beach Theatre, featuring music concerts. Sit back and enjoy the music or join the many dancing on the Broadwalk. Whether you love rock & roll, blues, jazz, or R&B there’s always something for everyone.

Broadwalk Friday Fest offers up some wondering food and drink choices. How about oysters and beer or pasta and wine? There are dozens of restaurants, bars, and cafes along the Hollywood Beach Broadway so whether it’s a fest week or any other week it’s a great place to explore!

Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Tribute & Memorial Service is held each January offers celebrations of the King’s legacy with worship, musical programs, and praise.

Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum showcases animal habitats and exhibits up close. It’s part of the Seminole wildlife experience and a great place to learn about Seminole culture and history. Don’t miss the daily alligator wresting.

Be sure to visit Hollywood Boulevard and Harrison Street where you’ll find brick lined walks and 6 blocks of wonderfully unique boutiques and specialized shopping as well as some great art galleries. Enjoy a cup of java at one of the quaint sidewalk cafes or enjoy a meal at one of the many excellent restaurants.

If you’re feeling a little luck why not try your hand at the tables or slots at Seminole Paradise where you’ll find Hard Rock Casino as well as shopping for the savvy shopper, and be sure to enjoy a delicious meal or two. Oh wait, be sure to take in the local entertainment which can only be described as explosive!

The 130,000 square foot casino is open 24 hours a day everyday while the entertainment can only be described as hard rock style with some of the hottest sporting and concerts in Florida. So whether you’re looking for something to do during the day or somewhere to play the night away Seminole Paradise has it all!

This quaint city is so rich in history and culture that you’ll find plenty to see and do. Here you’ll find a relaxing pace where you can leisurely wonder exploring all the sites and sounds that Hollywood has to offer.
