Consider the Panasonic Viera TX-L32S10
|
The biggest drawback noted with the Panasonic TX-L32S10 is the lack of ability to calibrate the backlighting and colour output from the onscreen menu. The menu used on this set is very simple and easy to understand, an advantage to the average user, but lacks some of the functionality enjoyed by more advanced users. With SD and 720p resolution, there is a 1 to 1 pixel mapping capability, making the clearest resolution possible. With this Panasonic TX-L32S10 1080p resolution, there is not 1 to 1 mapping but the quality is incredible. There is no edge enhancement but that doesn't seem to cause any issues, in fact, those using 60p games through xbox and their PS3's seem to really like this set. It can be an issue, but not a big one, mind you; for those who are planning on using the Panasonic TX-L32S10 high definition TV as their monitor for their desktop computer. The only thing that is lacking is the ability to map to 1 to 1 pixel which may cause a bit of an issue if you're going to use a lot of text driven applications. Other than that, you will be fine with this TV. The price just can't be beat, not when you consider all of the perks you'll get with this TV. I think that this set must have been designed with gamers in mind. It seems like there is no better way to describe the capabilities of this HD television than to say that it's a gamers dream. You can't find another 2009 HDTVE model that has so many awesome perks, especially for the price. Ok, so what is the downside? Keep in mind, these things were reported, but not proven to be true, so this is just a brief overview. Some gamers said that there is a little fraction of ghost imaging because of the backlight flicker. Most people who have used the Panasonic Viera TX-L32S10 high definition TV for gaming haven't noticed the issue. Decide for yourself. You may think that you're going to lose somewhere with this low priced set, probably with the sound quality. However, once again, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The sound quality is great, especially when you look at the placement of the speakers - pointing slightly downwards. Panasonic was obviously trying to make front presentation as good as possible on the Panasonic TX-L32S10 but they could have taken a little more consideration when it came to placement. However, this doesn't cause any lack of quality sound. It's not hard to add surround sound to the Panasonic TX-L32S10 to improve the quality of sound. Most viewers will have no issues with the sound quality at all. This entry level HD television does an incredible job when it comes to giving you crystal clear, sharp images. The price is beyond reasonable and quite a steal when you price other sets in the same category and size. This is a perfect TV for those who are just beginning with high definition sets. The Panasonic TX-L32S10 is value for money. About The Author: Best Price for the Panasonic TX-L32S10 in the UK at TX-L32S10 and Panasonic TX-L32S10 Cheapest |
