Contemporary Western Numerology System is Flawed

“The system of applying the English alphabet to numbers one through nine, called the Pythagorean system, simply isn't accurate," states Thompson, “primarily because the English alphabet didn't exist when Pythagoras was alive or when the ancient esoteric orders used the wisdom of sound and vibrational frequency. Her belief was that there had to be a way to not only connect this to the English alphabet, but provide a system that works for any language based on phonetics. Numerology may be considered New Age hype by some, but this ancient system is believed valid by many. I can attest to feeling conflicted by my own results with what's considered the Western/Pythagorean system. Results that came from my date of birth were fine, but the ones from my name were not. It wasn't until I used Thompson's revised system that I saw alignment.
