Corner Shower Stall - Dressing Up a Small Bathroom

Thinking of redecorating your bathroom but having a hard time dealing with the small space? Well, don't despair, you can have a beautiful bathroom, even though you don't have a huge amount room to work with. One of the concerns that you may have is the shower, and if you are dealing with a small bathroom, you may want to consider going with a corner shower stall. While these corner showers look great in any size bathroom, they can be especially helpful if you are limited in space.

Make the Best of Small AreasDealing with a small area is tough when you are trying to fit in a shower, and there are many showers that may not fit in your small bathroom or you may find that some showers just take up way too much room. Well the one thing that may work in your small bathroom is a corner shower stall. These are special shower stalls that fit right into a corner and help you to save space in the bathroom. This way you have a nice shower that fits in nicely, makes the bathroom look great, and doesn't take up a huge amount of space.

Go with a Unit That is PrefabricatedWhen you are planning to install a corner shower stall in your small bathroom, one thing you'll definitely want to do is going with a unit that is prefabricated. Make sure that you take the time to measure the area that you have and buy a unit that is totally together. Just make sure that you can get the unit easily into your house. It is much easier to get a shower stall in that is already together and you won't have to worry about figuring out how to put it together when it is already prefabricated for you.

Tips for Installing the Corner Shower StallIf you are going to be installing the corner shower stall yourself, the first thing you'll need to do is get the old shower out of the home. Also, the flooring may have to be taken up as well, since you'll definitely need to get to the pipes that are underneath the floor. Then you'll be ready to start installing the new shower that you have for the bathroom. Make sure you get the pipes hooked up and then drill all of your holes and make sure that you get the shower safely and sturdily installed. When you have finished with the installation, make sure to use silicone around all the edges to keep the water from getting in the cracks.
