Craft Show Display - Tips And Tricks

There is a big difference between an interested visitor and a satisfied buyer. When at flea markets, having a great craft show display is a must, if you want to make a sale and obtain the price that you want for your sellable items. This is how you need to organize it so you can see the money cashing in.

First things first

You will need to buy a few things, if you want your craft show display to look unique. Consider buying:

- a canopy or a tent, so your items will be protected from bad weather;

- at least two tables to present your merchandise in a cool and interesting manner; it is important for people to see what they are about to buy;

- fend off the wind by tethering some weights to your tables, so your good do not end up spilled on the concrete;

- the way an item is presented is very important; a few display cases wont break your budget, and they will make you gain extra;

- you will need to draw attention to your goods and the best way to do that is by covering the items with some bright fabric.

Advanced tips

Next in line, there are some things that you can do to enhance your craft show display:

- As said before, it is important that the possible customers see your merchandise so, put your tables in a way that will draw attention;

- If you hang some of the items of the ceiling of the tent, they will be seen from a greater distance and people will come to you for a buy;

- In case you sell items that must be tried on, always have a mirror;

- A good signage will improve your business; you may have customers that would want to turn back for another buy;

- Another great tip is to put price tags on all your goods; people will appreciate being able to know if they can afford this or that.

Search for advice

Even if you are one of the new guys, it does not mean that you cannot ask for some advice from those that already come to the festivals for quite some time. Even if they may seem to be only the competition, they can prove to be nice folks, that can lend you a hand so you can get by, too. It is of the essence that you have enough space to display your items, but respect your neighbors and dont cross the line between you and them. With all these tips in your pocket, you will have a great craft show display.
