So what's the buzz about dating anyway? Dating is one of the thrilling ways of finding yourself a good catch. This is an event where you can get to know the person more through conversations as you get to study his or her mannerisms and the way he or she conducts himself or herself around you. Dating is an adventure in itself and there are so many possible things that can happen in that one time affair. It is either you forget about it or you will forever remember it. And a date can definitely have sequels, depending on the couple. In your first date, usually we follow the “First impression lasts." principle. So you really need to be at your best self—physical, mental, emotional—everything that encompasses your personality and your totality has to be impressive. So the tendency is that we put our best food forward. But then again, you need to remember that you also need to be sure that this person you are with will accept you for how and what you are so do not totally turn into a different person during the first date. Being your best self doesn't entail pretensions. A date as much as possible has to be your most memorable time together with that someone so make the most out of it. If you caught yourself hanging out with a person who is totally the opposite of your expectations, especially on a blind date, well, just be casual and nice enough to appreciate the effort and the though of just being there. Give the person a chance to show the best that he or she can be and you as well and see how far it could progress. You may never know, that might start a beautiful and lasting friendship. A lot of hopefuls believe that destiny has its way to find itself and dating is one of those venues wherein you can make it happen. There is nothing wrong with that, in fact a lot can testify that they have truly found someone who they can be themselves with or they have found the person of their dreams... the possibilities are numerous. You may never know what can possibly happen to you unless you get out of your shell. This may sound a little silly or corny for most people but it is a fact and a possibility to end up with someone and it all begins with the first meeting. Dating allows us to meet people not only to find a potential partner or lover, but it is also a way of making friends. The thing is sometimes we repel on the cliché or on the stereotype dating but the thing is, you have a choice of dating people for your own reasons. So let the mystery unfold right before your eyes, and your heart. Maybe as you date, you will be able to create your happy ending, or your happy beginning!
