Dealers And Used Vehicles



Experian's, a company that provides global information services, automotive arm, Experian Automotive, along with the Bank of America had conducted a research and the results of the study are quite interesting. The people behind the study had found out that used vehicles sold by dealers could actually help them better their business for this year and the following one as reported by The Auto Channel.

Five Secrets to Increasing Your Used Vehicle Profits. That would be the title of a workshop where the complete and important findings of the study would be presented to the auto industry this February 9th up until the 12th. This would also be part of the National Automobile Dealers Association's 91st Annual Convention and Exposition happening in San Francisco, California's Moscone Center.

Part of the whole presentation of findings of the study includes Doug Sellers who Bank of America's Dealer Financial Services Southeast dealer center director, as well as Melinda Zabritski who is currently Experian Automotive's Automotive Credit director. These two would be joined by the Experian Automotive's director for sales Peter Margaros.

Sellers, in an overview of their findings, disclosed, “Over the past year we've seen significant growth in the used vehicle market and its effect on the dealers' bottom line. Having a strong used vehicle strategy will be critical to the profits dealers see in 2008."

Also, Experian Automotive president Scott Waldron shared, “There's no doubt that the power of the used vehicle market is stronger than ever. Experian Automotive and Bank of America have the market reporting and lending expertise in the used vehicle space that can give dealers the strategies and tools they need to make profit-generating decisions for their businesses."

Of course, it would be very important for dealers and automotive experts to be part of the presentation of findings of the study so as to be able to learn more on how to rise up in the competitive industry that markets everything and anything connected to vehicles like GMC wheels to engine components to automotive services and to everything else in between. Tips and possible processes on how to be successful in the used vehicle business would also be shared by the people behind the study.
