Defining Vase Fillers - A Number of Creative Ideas for your Home or Office Décor

We have a number of options to serve as vase fillers. It just depends on what you want! Do you have some of our clear glass vases in your collection? If so, you will want to pick filler that does not overwhelm the classic lines of the vase. You want something attractive that could stand alone as a decorative piece or work in tandem with your flowers. One of the basic roles of vase fillers is to provide stability for your flower arrangements. Sometimes the stems of flowers are delicate or the blossoms are so weighty that the stems will droop, causing them to hang over the lip of a vase as if in a drunken stupor. Fillers take up space in the vase and support these flower stems and the weight of the beautiful blooms at the same time. For instance, if you want something that is not going to be very noticeable, how about those clear glass pebbles? Shells are easy to clean and easy to maintain. Extending that nautical theme, you could even use different colored sand layered in a vase for a dramatic effect. How about alternating layers of sand and shells for your vase fillers? You don't even need to add any flowers or greenery to create a dramatic effect.
