Deja Vue

From time to time all of us will experience situations that we feel we have been a part of before. This familiar feelings is referred to as Deja Vue. Some people tend to experience it more than others which often indicates they are more in tune with their inner feelings and about their surroundings. Others believe that Deja Vue is the result of things you have said or places you have been in a past life. This particular type of feeling isn't always one that is comfortable even though you do feel like you have explored it before.

The research about Deja Vue though often indicates another reason for these feelings. Instead of really being memories, it can be the thought of what you felt would happen in a given situation. So why don't we remember those thoughts? It is very likely that they take place in the subconscious where were aren't aware of them. This is why feelings of Deja Vue, memories, and even dreams can all seem like one to the mind. We may not be able to differentiate which category an event really falls into based on our subconscious.

There is also a theory that some people have a faster response with one of their eyes than the next. As a result their brain has started to identify what is around them before the rest of the connection has been made. It is almost like a short circuit that occurs in the body from time to time.

Deja Vue may be linked to neurological and mental health disorders as well. This is based upon information about people with such diagnosis having more experiences with it. Yet these findings can't be confirmed as absolutely conclusive so this all remains just a theory at this point in time. There has been documented research that indicates the use of certain prescription medications can result in higher occurrences of Deja Vue though.

There is no doubt that the issue of Deja Vue is quite complex. In many regards that is what makes it so interesting. Both children and adults alike have experiences with it. People from all walks of life and from different locations around the world as well. Studies have indicated that the majority of cases involve those that are from 15 to 25 years of age. This is a very interesting fact but science still hasn't been able to really tell us what it all means.

It is believed that only about 30% of the population will never experience Deja Vue. Some people are very excited when it comes occur while others are bothered by it. If you happen to be fascinated by it, work on being more in tune with such experiences. When they do occur, write them down in a diary. Record what you experiences, emotions, smells, and other details. When you review such information you may discover that you have certain links and triggers that result in Deja Vue occurring.
