Do Your Eureka Vacuum Bags Keep It Clean?

For the last couple of years there has been this huge debate going on as to whether today's modern vacuum is better or worse than that of just a decade or so ago. And the Eureka vacuum is no different. People are wondering whether the Eureka vacuum bags really do keep their home clean?

Part of the big debate is whether a bag vacuum is superior to a bagless vacuum or the other way around. And of course as with any debate there are people on both sides swearing that they are right.

Well to tell you the truth it is sometimes very difficult to tell which is really the truth. Take your Eureka for example. If you've got the bagless model chances are you feel that's superior.

But if you have the bag version you probably prefer it and you'd be right in both cases. The Eureka bag system is actually very good compare to some of the competitors on the market.

You see their bags are of the highest quality. There's no flimsy bags here that let dust and dirt escape. Instead you can relax knowing that all that ugly old dirt you have collected is staying trapped inside the bag.

Now that said you realize that only applies if you buy genuine Eureka bags. If you buy seconds or bags made by another manufacturer there is no guarantee that you will receive the same quality bags. It really depends.

If your bag isn't trapping the dirt correctly you can easily tell. The outside of your bag will have tuned a dirty color a result of escaping particles. You may also see dust floating in the air - this is never a good sign. Either your bag is full or you are not using a manufacturer's bag.

Bags are really easy to change. Just pop one off and put a new one on. It's a good idea to replace at when the bag is about 2/3 full. That way you maintain maximum suction. Using bags reduces the mess of cleaning out the canister on a bagless model.

Eureka vacuum bags are readily available online and I've seen them for as much as 70% less than the local department stores so be sure to shop around online and stock up when you find that great pricing.
