Dormers can now be bought pre-constructed and though they are not considered a do it yourself project, a professional builder will have no problems adding them onto your home. The cost should be minimal since the dormers are already constructed and ready to install. Before considering adding dormers to your home, be sure to check your local city housing restrictions.
