You can use yellow frosting on top of the cupcakes and then when it has set add a spoonful of yellow. Add two orange candy eyes and jelly bean for the nose. This is a fast and easy way to make chicks out of your Easter cupcakes. For those that enjoy extra frosting, these Easter cupcakes will be perfect for them to enjoy. This holiday is well represented by the bunny, so you may want to use that theme for your Easter cupcakes. Using green frosting on them to look like grass, you can put a plastic bunny on a small stick in the center. These are found at party stores and online and they are very affordable. Use the sprinkles that are round flat pieces to look like eggs on the grass. If you can find miniature jelly beans that would make it even more ideal as they do close resemble the shape of eggs. There are even some great pans for baking Easter cupcakes in that will make them the shape of eggs. You can use various colors of frosting to make colored eggs with them. This is really fun for older children that have chosen to stop dying Easter eggs but you still want them to take part in some Easter related activities. They can use gel frosting tubes as well to make designs on the Easter cupcakes or to write messages on them. You can create your own Easter cupcakes with ideas you choose as well.
