Electric Sauna Heaters Or Wood Which Is Better?
|
Electric have become very popular for many reasons the main being convenience. Just around every corner is an electric plug but wood is a little more difficult especially if you live in an urban area. So which type of sauna heater is really best? Well at the end of the day it really comes down to what you prefer. Wood, electric, and gas all have benefits. There are some that would never use anything other than wood. These purists believe that wood is the only way to go if you want a true sauna experience. But that said many would have nothing else other than electricity. After all modern times call for modern techniques and since there isnt really any difference in the experience going for convenience only makes sense. The electric heater requires for less work. You dont have to find wood or buy wood, have it hauled, clean up the ash, worry about the vents, and worry about regional bylaws. Electric gives you convenience which is why all modern day kits come with electric sauna heaters. Gas has the same advantages of electric providing you have natural gas running to your home. No natural gas then this isnt even an option unless you consider propane. Electricity is a much better choice. No matter how you decide to heat your sauna the steam is created when you pour water over the stones. The temperature you set your spa at is up to you but around 185 degrees Fahrenheit or 85 degrees Celsius is fairly average. You can easily control the temperature with the thermometer. The choice really isnt as difficult as you might think. Simply le common sense dictate. Do you have a fireplace? Easy access to wood? Country Living? Then wood may be your better choice. No wood to be found near you? Urban living? Love convenience? Hate the thought of having to chop wood? Then go electric and stay convenient. Electric sauna heaters are the number one choice but wood and gas are certainly still popular. Choose what fits your lifestyle.
