Event Planning: Planning a Theme Wedding
|
Many people love the idea of a theme wedding as it reflects on their own passion which they would want to share with their friends and family. It could be a dream sunset on the beach wedding or even a favorite sport. Whatever the theme, there are resources for Wedding planners out there to create the perfect setting. Wedding Planning takes time and organization skills. From baseball shaped card-holders to princess bridal gowns, it is all available due to the increasing demand from the public. Even if you don’t find the necessary resources for the theme of your dreams, there are custom made products that you can consider purchasing online for the theme. As a Wedding Planner you can take a look at some of the more popular wedding themes which are based on the seasons and even different holidays like Christmas. Fantasy themes of Cinderella and Snow White are also very popular and can be very grand. And let’s not forget the animal theme. It could be a dolphin or a butterfly setting, the choices are unlimited. Other Wedding Planning themes are based on the different colors, fantasy creatures like unicorns and fairies, destination themes, flower themes and many more. Of course some very unique themes are also being used. These are very personal to the bride and groom and can range from a favorite sport to a favorite movie. So don’t be surprised if you hear of a Wedding Planner arranging a basketball theme or even a Shrek theme. It is all possible and it is happening all the time. So rest assured that no matter what the theme on your mind is, it will not be the only one of its kind. In fact someone might have already been there and planned that! So a little research online will be very helpful. Wedding Planning with a particular theme in mind can be quite a task. There are countless different, small and seemingly insignificant details that need to be looked into and finalized, so it will be very helpful if you first make a list. The content of the list should be based on your own priorities of course, so I cannot make many suggestions. But below are a few of the bigger things to watch out for that will affect the theme of the occasion. 1. The Gown – This is one of the first things that a bride would think of. There are a lot of choices out there as you undoubtedly already know, and it will not be difficult to find one that fits your theme and budget. 2. The Venue – The most important aspect is the venue. The entire theme gets affected by the setting so be very careful with the location, especially if it is to be an outdoor venue. An indoor venue will be much easier to control but if it is an outdoor event that you have your heart set on then be careful of the weather conditions on the big day. 3. The Flowers – A quick Wedding Planning tip, for an indoor wedding you would need more flowers than an outdoor wedding where you can just pick a venue with a lot of planted flowers. The color and the type of flowers will affect the theme of your event. 4. The Decorations – Obviously this is the part where the theme can really be shown off. From colors to center pieces everything that you use has to be centered on the theme. The colors, shapes and materials have to be carefully picked out by the Wedding Planner for the full effect. 5. The Invitations – This will again need to be styled according to the theme. 6. The Favors – This is the best way to add the full affect of the theme to the wedding as you can get really creative with it. I hope the above has been helpful.
