Exersise - Tips for Getting in the Habit

Tip #1 - Don't Break It - Don't break the habit once you get into a good exersise routine. Once you have started it will be harder to restart of you do stop. The first few days may be hard in the beginning but as you go along it will get easier, and you will even look forward to exercising more, it can get very addictive. Remember to allow your exercise regimen to grow as you progress to, because you want to keep making your workout more difficult as you accomplish your goals. Tip #2 - Make a Commitment Each Month - Make a commitment each month to exersise. Set your goals for what you want to achieve that month and gear your exercise regimen to accomplish those goals. Making this kind of commitment will ensure that you have a good workout and get the results you desire. Tip #3 - Ensure Exercise is Fun - Make sure that your exersise is fun. There are many different things you can do to ensure that you have fun when you exercise. You can go for bike ride every other day, or go hiking on the weekends, or even just go for a short walk every evening. These things are all very good for both your cardiovascular system as well as for building muscle. You might even want to try something new that you didn't know how to do such as learning to surf or martial arts. It is always fun to learn a new skill. Tip #4 - Have a Workout Buddy - Having a workout buddy is a good idea. Make sure to find someone who is just as committed as you to getting back into shape while exersisng. If you are lucky they will even be more motivated than you and keep you moving in the right direction…. . forward. A workout buddy will also make your exercise regimen more fun, because you have someone to share the experience with. Tip #5 - Keep Track of Your Fitness - Always keep track of your progress with regard to your fitness. This way you will be able to modify your exercise regimen to fit your needs.
