Titanium gains other characteristics when it is used in alloys with other materials like Aluminium and Vanadium. In such alloys, the tensile strength of the material is becoming higher that makes it usable for the part of the rings where the stones must be imbedded. The rest of the ring is made of purer metal combinations, but the reason for using alloys like those presented above is to permit the stone to be held in place. Titanium is used in jewelry making because it is also very resistant to corrosion, but this quality makes it almost impossible to resize a ring made of Titanium. Titanium is very resistant to the action of salt water, too, which is the reason why many surfers and swimmers like to wear such pieces of jewelry.

Titanium is not only used for rings, but for other items, too. The best golf clubs are made from Titanium, as well as expensive spectacle frames. The element is used also in the aerospace, marine and motor industry as well as for surgical implants. The most important thing about Titanium is that it is used for making good quality products.
