Fun Games to Play at Parties
|
Blind PaintingOne great idea to try if you're looking for games to play at parties is blind painting. This can be a lot of fun for everyone. You simple blindfold all the players and then instruct them to draw a picture that you choose. It's a great idea to choose a picture that goes with the theme of the party. Allow everyone about a minute to complete their drawing and then have them take off the blindfolds. The person who has the best drawing will win the game. The Cake WalkA cake walk is another great game that can be added to any party and people really enjoy it. You'll want to take 10 chairs and then put them in a circle with the chairs facing out. Have a number on all of the chairs from 1-10. Have everyone pick a chair. Play some music and as it plays, everyone will move in a circle and then sit in a chair when the music stops. Then the person in charge will call a number and the person in that chair will win a cake or some other type of prize. Dodge BalloonDoge balloon can be a lot of fun at any type of a party as well and is a great addition if you are looking for games to play at parties. It basically works the same way as the game of dodge ball does; however, each team has multiple balloons to throw and they are filled with water. If you get hit, then you are out of the game. The team that has the most people who aren't wet in the end will win. Pass the BalloonLast of all is pass the balloon. This is a bit like hot potato. You have everyone sit in a circle and then you pass the balloon around as music plays in the background. Usually it works best if they pass the balloon behind them, which makes it a bit more difficult. Whenever the music stops, then the person who is holding the balloon is out.
