The marriage between Garth Brooks, and his wife Sandy, comes to a sad ending, after the two spent their time married for 14 years. The announce regarding the formal divorce was made only recently, but the relation has been disruptive for more than a year. Finally, the fights and the inability to understand each other took over their relationship, causing them to split. When Sandy asked Garth a year ago to choose between music and her, the artist gave up the scene for her, and they have spent their time at their property in Oklahoma, trying to mend up things between them. It has been a very quiet year for the couple, but, unfortunately, they did not manage to restore things as they were before. But Garth Brooks' success did not stop and he became the number one solo artist of all times, with more than one hundred million albums sold.
The cherry on top for this divorce was the rumor about the divorce settlement, that reaches no less than $125 million, which is about half of the artist's wealth. It also appears that another woman may be involved in this break up, as the name of Trisha Yearwood was associated with that of the country legend. Rumors about them being close went through the roof, one year ago, when Trisha Yearwood gave up on her marriage, and her spouse, Robert Reynolds. Some predicted that Garth and Sandy would divorce, under the new circumstances, as the existence of an affair between Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks was keeping the headlines on tabloids.
Children are always the most sensitive issue related to a divorce. Garth and Sandy have three kids together, an eight year old, Taylor, a six year old, August, and a four year old, Allie. Both parents declared that they are interested in making things easier for the three children and that they work together to find how to take the best action for them. That have been a topic since the divorce was announced for the first time in the media. Many think that it would be for the best if they could keep their off-springs out of the rumors, as the divorce is underway.
