You will find the colors of Gazania to be very bold, and that is part of their appeal. Many people compare them in structure to a daisy. The colors include orange, yellow, pink, mauve, burgundy, and red. You will find plenty of shades of each of these colors offering you a very wide selection of them to enjoy. When you are looking for Gazania to plant, you want to take a look at the overall height that they can be. Some of them are only a few inches tall in full bloom. Others are several feet tall though. Both of them offer plenty of great beauty but if you are growing the Gazania for a certain purpose you want them to be perfect. It may surprise you to find that these great looking flowers grown in areas where there is near drought conditions. If you live in an area where there is plenty of moisture they won't grow well. They also will grow where the soil is bad so if you have all but given up on a flower garden for such reasons you should be excited. They are perennials so they are going to come back year after year as long as you want them to. You want to plant the Gazania in areas where they will get plenty of direct sunlight. While many other types of flowers will be destroyed by the scorching heat these tend to thrive. You want to water them sparingly though as you can destroy them by providing too much of it. Your garden of Gazania will be easy to care for as well. You will need to remove dead foliage now and then but that is all. You aren't going to have to spend time to fertilize the soil before you plant Gazania. You also not need to feed them various types of supplements. Many people find it impossible to believe that such gorgeous flowers can be grown for such a low cost and with so little effort. If you want great looking flowers with out the hassle though this may be what you will be successful with. The various Gazania colors and designs make them very interesting. You can grow your own to have a lovely outdoor garden to look at. You can also harvest them to make colorful centerpieces that are unique.
