Get Cozy With The Right Country Curtains

Your country kitchen deserves to have the finishing touches and the right country curtains can feel cozy and warm, setting a calming relaxing atmosphere.

Every country home deserves to have beautiful country drapery for the kitchen, living room, and even the bathroom shower. And with so many choices on the market it shouldnt take you long to find the perfect pair for your room.

Today window coverings have finally come into their own. No other time in history have we recognized the importance of our window coverings like we do today. Thats why there is such a great selection of rods, finials, and window coverings to choose from.

Country drapery and curtains make the room feel attractive without overpowering the room. They make the room feel relaxed without being over the top, and they make the room feel warm and inviting without feeling pushy.

But then anyone who has chosen the country decor already knows its benefits and adding the finishing touches with drapery only makes sense.

The difference between todays country and that of only a decade ago is todays country is much more fashionable and ever so stylish. Gone are the days of hanging a pair of gingham curtains and calling it a day. Todays fabrics are sleeker, warmer, softer, and modern. Today you have plenty of alternatives to the traditional fabrics.

Be sure to choose a curtain road and finial that will compliment your drapery. Have some fun with the finial. For example lets say your decorating your kitchen and you collect roosters. How about choosing rooster finial? What a great finish! Remember you are only limited by your own imagination.

If you are going to have a true country decor then you need to blend country throughout your entire home. It needs to be the heart and soul of your home.

Your country decor needs to include your linens, candles, quilts, aprons, lamps, shades, accessories, drapery, and every other element of your room. Your decor should incorporate your room from top to bottom. When you enter the room you should instantly feel warm and invited. If you dont then there is an element of your room that isnt right.

A country kitchen looks great with a couple an old side board or a couple of distressed tables or cabinets. Your living will have an added coziness with a handmade quilt or an country afghan.

If you are decorating your bathroom add a pitcher and basin for a fabulous finishing touch. Dont forget about the country shower curtain.

Your master bedroom will look wonderful with a flower spread and matching drapes and dont forget about the throw pillows that accent the spread.

You are limited only by your old personal tastes and your creative element. Theres no right or wrong but just remember to pull your elements together and avoid clutter. Clutter will take away from your rooms decor.

That said dont mistake clutter for style. A group of old cast irons, a collection of roosters, or how about some old blue and white plates displayed on the wall?

Your country curtains are going to add the finishing touches to your room. Choose wisely.
