It would be sad if the certificate would be put in a drawer only to expire in darkness. Below are some ideas for gift certificates when your imagination fails. Travel If the recipient in question, like most others do, like to travel one can always choose a gift certificate for travel in some form or another. Restaurants If the recipient of the gift certificate is a big fan of food and drink, a certificate to a restaurant is always a popular option. Many restaurants offer their own-made gifts that you buy on the spot which is nice if you know exactly which restaurant the person in question would like to eat at. If you do not know of any good restaurants, there are general gift certificates that can be used in a variety of restaurants all over the world. If all else fails this can be a good ide. Health & beauty A gift certificate for a spa treatment, a massage or anything similar is a great gift, not just for women. You can trust that the recipient will appreciate your concern and feel pampered enough afterward. A good tip is to look for any spas or massage parlors in the recipient's neighborhood; otherwise it is a risk of the gift certificate not being utilized in time. If you are more than one person that go together to buy a gift, it might be an idea to give away a gift certificate for a whole day in a spa, with massage, various therapies and beauty bath and relax. If you are solo, this may be a tad expensive but most spas offer gift certificates for single treatments as well as longer stays. Gift certificates have had a poor reputation as presents but there are numerous of excellent presents in the form of certificates. And to be honest a good share of all proper gifts get returned or changed anyway, thus acting in the same way as any certificate.
