Nowadays golf carts are not simply an item you rent at the local golf course. Not anymore! Electric powered carts are fine for the golf course. Most driving is completed on asphalted or well managed cart paths. Today's batteries have been vastly improved so you can now go for hours between battery charges. Manufacturers have have spent a lot of money on technology making modern carts less troublesome and practically maintenance free! A gas powered cart is useful for those that would like a vehicle which will have no problem powering through various terrain. Taking the cart off-road or where the path ends requires extra horsepower than electric models can produce. Gas powered units can take you places electric model dare not tread. Buying A Cart If you're considering buying a cart in a location where golf is frequently played, cart prices will generally be higher. Locations like the Carolinas can usually command prime dollar for golf carts. As do the retirement communities mentioned earlier. (Though these locations also provide a wider selection for the used golf cart market.) When you're looking to find bargains on golf carts, there are many factors to keep in mind. But finding just the right cart can add pleasure to the game of golf and might possibly be the means to a whole new way of getting around the city!
