This grill looks and feels like a stainless grill but it's not which is why it can be purchased for under $500. It is excellent quality even without being stainless. It has stainless rod cooking grates and a cast brass side burner that is higher quality then many of the competitions. This barbeque has good BTU for the size and it also presents a decent size cook area for the price. You get five 12,000 stainless steel burners, a 60,000 BTU main burner, and 600 square inches of cook area on the main grill. That gives you an overall total of 735 square inches of grill space. You have to admit that's pretty impressive for the price. You could place the quality of this grill around the lower end Char Broil grills and the entry level Jenn-Air grills. It looks very impressive with the shiny hood but be warned because it isn't stainless it can rust and loose its appeal. You can help prevent this buy keeping a cover on the grill when not in use. This is a nice lightweight grill that's very easy to move from one location to another. The 600 square inches of cooking space is adequate for a family or a get together with friends. The grates are fairly heavy duty providing an adequate cooking surface. The side burner means you get the full cooking capability. There are several different models to choose from. As with anything as you spend more you get more so if you want stainless Great Outdoors has that to offer too. When you are in the market for a grill there are a few things you need to consider starting with the average number of people you'll be cooking for. That will determine whether you need a small, medium, or big grill. You will also want to consider what options you want on your grill, what type of cooking you generally do, and how many side burners you'd like. Consider if you want a rotisserie. Do you need portability? Prefer stainless? If you make a list of the features and functions you need and want then choosing a new grill gets a lot easier.
