Has The Whole World Gone Crazy? Insanity At Its Best!
|
Turn on the television and listen to the news and you’ll begin to wonder if the whole world has gone crazy? But when one looks at what has been occurring in the United States over the past few years you really have to agree that this is insanity at its best! What’s next? President Bush riding in with his tall Stetson on his favorite horse? Who is he trying to copy exactly? Perhaps Clint Eastwood. This redneck and his methods of dealing with disaster and terrorists threats might leave one wondering whether this is the newest in day time soaps? Here we have a man who is suppose to be looking out for the citizens of the United States fighting wars in countries where in fact the 911 attacks never originated. The young men and women are putting their lives on the line every day to fight an invisible enemy. Oh yes that’s right – my mistake – didn’t President Bush announce the war was over months ago? And in just recent months there have been the horrific hurricanes that resulted in so much death and destruction. Why was it that President Bush was not able to get help to the citizens affected by Hurrican Katrina quickly? Heck he seems to have no problem getting troops to Iran within days and yet how long did these people wait for help? Long enough that many died! What was the problem? Absolutely insane! Incomprehensible and unacceptable! Why is it that President Bush could start a war in minutes but required days to get the logistics of helping his own citizens? Oh yes and then recent antics see President Bush playing the role of James Bond with secret recordings and tapings of his own citizens. In the name of terrorism we are told. But wait! Why was President Bush so quick to deny the program if all was on the up and up? Has anyone else wondered if perhaps the President of the United States has gone crazy? Here is a man that cannot speak to the public without the assistance of a speech writer. Here is a man that cannot answer an off the wall question without a bunch of stuttering. Here is a man that sat in a classroom with children while the towers were being blown up? Who exactly is running the country? Is it possible that President Bush is as insane as Sedam Husain is? Is President Bush actually acting on behalf of the American people or is he acting on behalf of a family tradition? Perhaps a family vendetta that was not resolved in the past? Why is it every time President Bush is questioned on his actions he screams about patriotism and accuses any who may not agree with his methods of being unpatriotic? Why is this President so keen on fear and war mongering? Why has this President tried so hard to stop the press from reporting information relating to the war in Iraq? Is it possible that President Bush is infact crazy? That he is the one that is on a mission of insanity? There is no question that the acts of terrorism experienced on September 11th were horrific and unacceptable. There is no question that the acts of terrorism must be stopped. But wait! Is that really what is going on? Think about this folks. Are you not living in fear these days? Each time you decide to spread your wings again, travel the world, perhaps move around the country a little bit more – have you noticed that another statement is made to place fear back into hearts of the citizens and keep you at home. Fear is an old tactic for control. Is this what President Bush is doing? Think about this folks. The War on Iraq has been a result of 911 yet no evidence very materialized to support that Iraq was at the heart of this horrific attack. Is it possible that the young men and women of the United States are sacrificing their lives for a personal vendetta of President Bush’s? Here’s something else to chew on for a bit. The United States debt is growing at an alarming rate. So what does this mean? It means that the next generation and the generation after and the generation after that will never again experience the benefits of a healthy, vital economy, with low tax rates because they are going to be paying this debt load down forever. Is this not insane? Terrorism is a serious problem that requires serious strategies to ensure attacks do not happen. However when a leader behaves like a cowboy from the wild west and appears to believe he is playing a game of cowboys and Indians one must wonder if he simply has gone insane or if the whole world has infact gone crazy? Insanity at its best can be found under the leadership of President George W. Bush! About The Author: Aura Mirchandani is the Editor and Publisher of Article Click.
