Hot Tub Remote Thermometer
|
Each remote sensor has its own temperature display and it transmits those temperatures to the main station which can be located as much as 75 to 100 feet away depending on the manufacturer of the thermometer system. Mount the remote unite on the wall of the spa with the probe in the water of the spa or you can tape the probe onto the plumping pipes. Only submerse the probe. You can also program high and low temperature alarms so you are alerted when the temperature climbs or drops below those levels. The main station shows the temperature of the room and then the temperature of the three remote sensors. Of course you dont have to use all three sensors. The transmitters usually use 3 AAA batteries and the display is LCD so its easy to read. The main station is easy to set and has auto scrolling for the remote units as well as low battery indicator. It uses 2 AAA batteries and it even has an automatic remote sensor link up. Installing and setting up your remote hot tub thermometer is a piece of cake. To set up the remote sensor:1. Remove the clip from the back of the unit.2. Insert the 3 AAA batteries.3. For 3 seconds the LCD will display all the segments.4. Attach the remote probe to the appropriate location.5. The sensor will automatically talk to the main station if it is activated.6. You can toggle between Fahrenheit and Centigrade. To Install the Main Station:1. Insert the 2 AAA batteries.2. The LCD screen will beep and display for 3 seconds and then begin receiving from the remote stations.3. The Main station will automatically talk to the remote stations and begin transmitting. A remote thermometer has plenty of advantages. You can see the temperature in your spa even when you arent using it but when others are. This is especially helpful when younger members of the family are using the hot tub. A hot tub remote thermometer can be easily purchased online and not only do you have plenty of styles and manufacturers to choose from you can save a great deal too!
